Vintage Yale Nickel Thumb Turn Mortise Locks

  • Item #: DM1106
  • 2 in Stock

These mortise locks work with a thumb turn to throw the deadbolt rather than a skeleton key.  They are the same as DM1105 except that all standard spindles (threaded and straight with set screws) fit the doorknob cam.

Clean with strong return springs. Chrome plating on the faceplate has some dings and scratches but that is expected for old hardware.  One has wear to the brass and if you want to sand a lock down so it’s gold rather than silver, that would be a good one for you. Unless you request that lock in the Comments section at checkout it will be the last one sold. Reversible for right or left hand doors.  Just open the lock and flip the strike over.

Go to Door Hardware – Small Parts for thumb turns to go with this lock. This lock has a 3/16” square opening for the thumb turn rod. Above price is for one mortise lock.

Spacing:  Distance from center of doorknob hole to center of thumb turn hole 2-1/4”
Faceplate: 15/16” wide x 5-3/8” high
