Vintage Corbin Thumb Turn Mortise Lock

These thumb turn locks were typically used on bathroom doors where they utilize a thumb turn to throw the deadbolt rather than a skeleton key. This lock has a nickel plated brass face plate to go with silver colored bathroom fixtures. The face plate has steel braces for strength. There are some light scratching to the face plate and the silver has worn off the strike but that happens a lot with old hardware.

The lock has been taken apart and cleaned. It is fully operational and ready to be installed. Reversible for right or left hand doors. Just open the casing and flip the strike over.

Faceplate: 7/8” x 5-1/4”
Spacing: 2-3/16”  (center of doorknob hole to center of thumb turn hole)
Thumb turn cam takes a 3/16” rod
