Vintage Cast Brass Recessed Window Lift

Obtained from a small mid-west hardware store established in the 1930s going out of business.   This is “new old stock” so I cannot be certain about the age.  Probably around 1930 – 1940.  .  Original lacquer clear coat with some wear due to being knocked around but there are no scratches on the brass.  Heavy and well made with beveled edges.  This is not pressed metal but thick cast brass.
