Vintage Beaded Detail White Bakelite Double Switch Plate

From the first half of the 20th century this plate has a more yellow tone than the ivory plates in that era. It has a central field pattern of very fine vertical lines with a dainty bead border. Be sure to enlarge the photo to see all the details!

This plate is in great condition but has a very minor discoloration between/below the toggle openings. It’s so slight it can’t be photographed but is about the size of the eraser on a pencil. Probably no one but me would notice it but if it bothers you it can always be painted. How about a bright primary color? How cool would that be! Paint sticks very well to these old plates – trust me on that!
