Mortise Locks

Although the antique lock, or latch, is the least visible on your antique door, it is a very important part. The most beautiful set doesn't do much good if the door doesn't open, close and/or lock properly. If you are purchasing several antique hardware parts to create your own "set", be sure to measure carefully that they fit the lock you choose. I will double check that they all fit together before confirming your order. The easy part is that almost all antique mortise locks are reversible for right and left hand doors. Please also refer to Helpful Information on how to measure and install antique mortise locks.

Please note that I do not sell parts for inside mortise lock casings.
