Victorian Antique Doorknob Set – “Creston”

Reading Hardware thought this design was so beautiful (and we agree!) they obtained a patent for it on April 23, 1901 and stamped the information on the shaft of every doorknob made. This set is made of wrought bronze with a copper plating. So pretty and elegant!

This set has been polished to bring out the bright copper shine. The only issues are a little dent in the center of one knob (see doorknob photo) and a bit of copper plating worn off at the lower right corner on one door plate (see doorplates photo). A square steel spindle with new brass set screws is included (not pictured).
