These Corbin mortise locks with their thick brass face plates are unusual in that they have two deadbolts. One is operated by a skeleton key and the other by a thumb turn. Although they are good sized locks they could be used for interior as well as exterior doors. Utilize whatever functions your door requires – lots of possibilities!
I have inspected the interior of these locks and all the parts are in operating condition however they have not been cleaned and have some surface rust (inside and out). You can take them apart and with a vinegar bath the rust would be removed or you can simply oil the parts. These old locks were made to operate even when rusty. I strongly suggest if you are taking them apart that you take good digital photos of the interior as you remove parts to ensure that they go back in the proper places. If you would like me to clean the rust off and oil the interiors I would be happy to do that for you for an additional $25 per lock. Just specify that you want this done in the Comments section at checkout and add $25 per lock to your payment when you mail your check.
I do not have skeleton keys for these locks but will guarantee that the deadbolt for that function will work as it should (all parts are in order and not bent or broken). You will have to see your local locksmith to have one made if you wish to use that deadbolt.
