Here’s your chance to have matching hardware on your front and rear screen doors! They were made by P & F Corbin in the late 1800’s and they named the pattern simply “Diagonal”. The pattern has a rather Egyptian flair with a mix of geometrics and foliage with picketing around the border of the latch.
All details are crisp and clear and the latches are in excellent working condition. The little finger lock provides night security. The replacement steel strike plates have been painted flat black to coordinate with the dark cast iron patina.
These latches are for outward swinging doors and could also be used for a pantry or small access door. Installed with the lock and one knob surface mounted on the interior and the rosette with knob on the outside. The little strike plate is installed on the door stop molding or the door jamb.
The above price is for both sets – everything you see in the photo.
