Sweet Little Antique Victorian Shelf Brackets

These little late 1800's shelf brackets are absolutely darling!  Their old chipped paint and varnish (they were originally black) gives them a delightful cottage look.  Of course, you could re-paint them but I personally like the sense of history showing.

These are genuine antiques made around the turn of the century.  They are made of heavy cast iron with no chips, breaks or repairs to the metal.  The shorter leg (under the shelf) is 4” long and the leg that would be against the wall is 5”.   Note that in the photo one bracket looks larger because it’s closer to the camera.  They are both the same size.
