Steel Faceplate Mortise Locks 2-1/8” Spacing – 2 Available

Nice old antique mortise locks with a steel faceplate.  The face plates have a color mix of brass, rust and iron giving an interesting mottled patina.  Lock casing is cast iron.  Strike and deadbolt are steel.  This lock has been taken apart, cleaned & oiled.  Before reassembly the face plates were given a lacquer clear coat for a soft shine.  Reversible for right or left hand doors – remove one screw, flip the strike over and close the lock again.  Ready for another 100 years of use!

Price is for one lock.  Go to Door Hardware>Small Parts for strike plates and a skeleton key.  The same skeleton key will work on both locks.  I have 2 strike plates that go nicely with these locks – DSP1007.
