Standing Lion Bronze Doorknobs with Rosettes

Manufactured by Sargent just after the turn of the century (1920 or earlier), these knobs feature the ever popular lion motif.  The design shows a finely detailed lion crest which is set off by what appears to be a ribbon tied laurel wreath complete with berries.  The rosettes did not come with the knobs but coordinate well.  Although set up for an exterior door (larger rosette on the outside) this set would be equally at home for an interior door.  Both doorknobs and rosettes are constructed of heavy cast bronze.  Typical of the age, small scratches are noted on the bottom of knobs with a small dent on one rosette.  Doorknob set screws are included.
