Solid Bronze Fleur de Lis Antique Letter Slot

Made in the late 1800’s this mail slot reminds me of a Victorian garden! The top and sides brings to mind ornate Fleur de Lis iron fencing and along the bottom edge swirling leaves. Be sure to enlarge the photo to see the fabulous metal art work.

Made of thick cast bronze with a medium caramel patina. Only a couple tiny dings and no scratching. The spring on the back is no longer functional and the flap now closes by gravity. Mounting screws are included but not pictured.

Opening interior: 15/16” x 4-3/16” oval
