Slender Cast Iron Household Hook

Old hook with narrow flowing lines and ball tip. You can see where the casting tab was broken off at the base which indicates that this is indeed an old piece of hardware. Very little wear to the original paint. A pin cast into the back of the base keeps it straight after installation. I don’t know the precise age but would guess at about 1920 or earlier.
