Although not exactly tiny these are a bit smaller than the others I have listed.  They are New/Old stock from the late 1800’s and have never been used. In the Victorian era pictures and paintings were hung with the wire or decorative rope/ribbon showing. The picture nail was an important element to set off the art work with jewelry-like flair. The white porcelain is in pristine condition and set off by a simple brass setting.  The brass has a slight patina and has not been polished. These are also sometimes used as a tassel tie-back for window curtains or anywhere else you want a decorative nail. Cute little hooks just by themselves!

Except for the two that were taken apart for the photo these are sold as they were originally – with the button on the nail. You will need to loosen the thin brass that creates the nail head pocket so the nail will come out. (Enlarge the photo to see it more clearly) The nail part is then hammered into your wall and the porcelain button slipped on over the head.

The above price is for one set of 11 picture nails. You will receive all the pieces in the photo.

Button is 5/8” diameter and nail is 2-1/8” long
