This set was assembled for those who want the extraordinary in their home! These door knobs are extremely rare not only for their lavender color but especially for their very small size. This tiny set is suitable for a pantry, powder room or screen door – anywhere a petite size is desired.  And if you use it where exposed to the sun the lavender will continue to darken!

The ornate surface mount latch (it no longer locks) is mounted on the side of the door that opens outward (you would push the door open from this side). That side features the darker lavender knob with a nickel shaft. On the other side of the door the little cast iron door plate still has its original varnish that gives it a slightly golden hue. The lighter lavender knob with its brass shaft has a dark patina that coordinates. If you would be using this set for a screen door (that opens outward) be sure that there is enough clearance between the screen door and your exterior door. With the glass knob sitting on top of the latch the total height is 2-7/8”. The little cast iron strike plate mounts on your door jamb or molding. Glass has no chips and only a few very minor scratches that can barely be seen.

Latch:  2-1/4” high x 1-7/8” wide
Back plate: 1” x 2”
Knobs: 1-5/8” diameter (flat to flat)
As it is now the set fits doors between 1-1/4” to 1-3/8” thick. If your door is thinner one of the screw holes on the rod can be cut off allowing the nickel knob to go further on the spindle. The set would then accommodate a door 1” thick.
