Pull Down Hooks for Transom or Upper Window Sash

Made of heavy cast iron with a black patina these hooks have never been used and were stored away for many decades. These hooks are a “must have” for homes with high windows!  Mounted on a wooden rod or dowel, they are used to reach window and transom hardware to facilitate opening them.  I’ve shown two different examples in the lower photos.  The transom latch is self explanatory.  The other photo is of a recessed sash pull that is mounted on the top of the upper double hung window sash.  The photos showing operation are not of this particular pull down hook. They are only for reference.
