Petite Rustic Victorian Cast Iron Hook

This is a cute little hook that was made around the turn of the century during the Victorian era. It has a rustic mix of dark iron patina, surface rust and bits of the original black paint to bring out the details. It appears that there was once another hook that has broken off but the break is so clean it appears to be part of the design.

I have not oiled this piece (oiling would make it turn almost black) so it you can easily repaint it the original black. There is a prong on the back that goes into the mounting surface and a screw provides additional stability. I’ve included 2 different length screws so it can be mounted on a door or cabinet as well as on your wall.
