These knobs are for use with an antique rim lock and were the most common used during the mid to late 1800’s. The flared shaft goes against the surface mounted lock and the straight shaft goes in a rosette for the other side of the door. Steel spindle with original set screws is included. Screws insert easily into all holes for adjustment. These knobs are sold as a pair and the above price is for two knobs and a spindle with set screws.

The photo is representative of the doorknob sets available. One knob will always be flared but the flare configuration might be slightly different. The shafts may be with black paint or stripped iron (and all points in between).  If you want very primitive with pitted rust, let me know in the Comments section. I have one set like that. All knobs will have varying degrees of age spots. Some will have small glaze skips or manufacturing irregularities.  All knobs will show wear that is consistent with their age but there are no large chips or deep scratches on any.  Both knobs on a set will match as closely as possible.

Diameter 2-1/4”
