Pair Victorian 1870’s Solid Cast Bronze Hinges – R Lift Off

Absolutely stunning 4-1/2” x 4-1/2” hinges just loaded with Victorian vines and daisies where the screw head forms the flower center when installed. Note the design on the backs that shows even with your door closed and the extra fancy steeple tips. Although I typically like patina these would be spectacular polished to a high sheen.

These hinges are made of solid cast bronze and are the lift off style for a right hand door. How they lift off is shown in one of the photos. To remove your door you simply lift it off the hinges. They don't need to be unscrewed. To determine if you have a right hand door stand (with the door closed) where you would see the hinge barrels. For a right hand door the hinges would be on your left. These hinges are much stronger than modern ones and are installed two per door. This size hinge is suitable for either an entry or large interior door.
