Pair Craftsman Copper Tiger Stripe Hinges

These 3-1/2" X 3-1/2" hinges were made by McKinney in the first half of the 20th century.  Made of wrought steel they feature the copper and black flashing that has come to be called “tiger striping”. I love them in a Craftsman style home but they go with many other architectural styles as well.

They have suffered with a few spots of rust from storage but rubbing with some linseed oil will perk them right up. They rotate easily. I have not tried to remove the pins.
