Pair Bronze Art Nouveau Hall Tree Hooks

These elegant hooks are made of solid bronze and feature soft foliage (or are they feathers?) in the undulating Art Nouveau style. They were made around the turn of the century for use on hall trees or mirrors that adorned the entry before the mundane “coat closet” was in vogue. Perfect for a restoration project or simply mount them on a strip of wood. Your guests and family will be delighted!

They are made of solid thick bronze and I’ve polished the details a bit so they stand out from the caramel patina. One of the hooks on each piece is slightly bent but you can’t tell unless you lay them down on a flat surface. The bronze that goes into the wood mounting surface is squared so that they would not rotate once installed. The screw (with original nut) allows a mounting surface up to 1” thick. Steel screws and nuts are oiled and nuts remove easily.

Projects 1-3/4” from mounting surface. Width of dual hooks is 4”.
