These exquisite door knobs were made by P F Corbin around 1905 for their French Renaissance School of Design. They named the design “Marselles”. The pulls are the easiest ever to install when you have a door (or doors) that are held by a method other than a latch. They are surface mounted and there are not holes drilled through your door.

The knobs are solid (not hollow) cast bronze with more of a yellow than a rose color tone. The 1930-1940”s pressed brass rosettes have been polished to closely match the high portions of the polished knob design. The knobs have obtained small dings here and there but have remained in remarkable condition given their century of use. The rosettes have no dents or bends.

To mount the pulls first secure the shaft portion to the door with the provided screws. Center the rosette over the shaft, push the knob firmly into the rosette and attach the knob to the shaft with the set screws provided. Last, screw the rosette to your door. You will have to get your own screws for the rosettes.

The above purchase price is for the pair of pulls. You will receive all the parts you see in the photos.

Doorknobs:  1-5/8” x 2-3/4” oval diameter
