Pair Antique Eastlake Cast Bronze Hinges 4”x4”

Abundant detail adorns these heavy cast bronze hinges made in the late 1800s during the Victorian era.  Be sure to click on the Larger Image so you don’t miss any of this fantastic metal artistry!  These hinges were made to be installed so that the design on the backs was visible when the door was closed.

The hinges have been lightly cleaned and one remains a bit darker than the other.  Also some very tiny areas of paint on that one.  Hard to see even with the Larger Image and “in person”.  There is some wear (see photo) on the barrel of one hinge that does not impact its use.  Ball tipped pins remove easily and lower ball tips unscrew as well.
