Pair Antique Anchor Steamer Trunk Handle Holders

Made of strong cast iron these pieces were made to hold the leather handles on antique steamer trunks. There is an anchor for the seafaring traveler. If you have the same ones and are restoring an old trunk you’ll be thrilled to find them here.  I can also see them used for imaginative crafts projects. Steampunk?

They have surface rust and many prefer them that way. Easily removed by soaking in vinegar overnight if you wish to do so.
