P F Corbin Ceylon Bronze Doorknobs – Several available

These beautiful wrought bronze antique doorknobs were made by P & F Corbin and are featured in their 1895 hardware catalog.  The named design, Ceylon, has a fantastic mix of geometrics and flowers.

Six doorknobs are in exceptional condition with an incredible dark patina like the one in the main photo. You may choose to polish the high portions or polish them completely but I didn’t want to disturb the patina since many people prefer them that way. The patina can be removed rather quickly but, once removed, would take decades to return. The other two knobs (also in perfect condition) were polished at some point. If you prefer the highly polished look, those would be the easiest to polish.
