P F Corbin 1905 "Ceylon" Door Plate Escutcheons - Several

These heavy bronze escutcheons were made by P & F Corbin and are featured in their 1905 hardware catalog.  The named design, Ceylon, has a fantastic mix of geometrics and flowers.  This design has heavier geometrics than the 1895 version. The plates are also shown with other doorknob patterns so don’t restrict them to just the Ceylon knobs!

The base of the plates is made of cast bronze and the doorknob collar is wrought bronze.  As you can see from the group photo there are various levels of patina and coloration since they would have aged differently.  Stock rotates constantly and the photos are representative. If you are ordering a pair (pairs) I will try and give you similar patinas. If you plan on polishing them let me know in the Comments section and I will send you the lightest I have.
