This pretty cupboard lock was made by Sargent & Company around the turn of the century (1800-1900). The keyhole cover is also by Sargent from the same time period. Neither has ever been used and both have the original varnish type finish. The antique Corbin key causes the deadbolt to slide in either direction to lock/unlock. The brass replacement catch fits the deadbolt.

Although this latch was made for a cabinet application (lock on the inside and keyhole cover on the outside) it could also be used for a full size door due to the length of the key. The key will accommodate a door up to 1-1/2” thick.  This would make a fabulous bathroom door lock!

Note that the red tint in the photo is the varnish. This set has no rust whatsoever.

Latch: 3-1/2” high x 1-3/4” wide
Keyhole cover: 1” wide x 1-3/4” high
