I’m not sure what these started life as but think they would make fantastic cabinet or cupboard handles! They would require some work but the results would be worth it!
The ornate base is made of cast brass with steel back plates. The handles are cast brass with an iron spindle. All the brass has a very dark patina with some light verdigris. Two of the spindles have holes on the ends. The third the spindle is twisted and the hole has almost rusted away. It is doubtful the keyhole function to lock the levers from turning could be used (even if you could find a key) since on two of the three the screw holding the plate is rusted in. If I were going to use them I would probably just cut all but a small stub of the lever spindle off and permanently attach them to the back plates. Solder, weld or just put some JB Weld in the plate hole and call it good. Use a magnetic catch to keep the door closed.
Plates are 5-1/8” x 2-1/8”
Lever handle is 2-7/8”
Price is for set of 3
