Ornate Cast Bronze 19th Century Shutter Knobs

During the 19th century hardware companies did not make cabinet knobs as we know them because, well…they didn’t have the same kind of cabinets. The only “pulls” they had were the drop type and otherwise they used handles or bin pulls. This is not to say that you can’t use these for your cabinets or drawers or even a small door if you wish!

These are spectacular for wherever you use them! The artistic designs are on both the front and back and they are all in exceptional condition with a medium patina. The screw will never come lose because it is part of the knob itself. Being made of solid cast bronze they are quite heavy and have a lot of presence.
