These little latches were made by Branford Lock Works around 1886 and they named the pattern “Ivy”. If you enlarge the close up to see all the tiny bronze detail you’ll see why! These small latches are very hard to find and to obtain two with their matching catches is very rare. As beautiful as they are the condition is just amazing. The banding on the lock faces retains most of the original black background paint and there are only a few very tiny dings. The locks have been cleaned and operate flawlessly.

Latch face plates and strike are solid cast bronze with the casing of thick cast iron. Strike plates are also solid cast bronze. Latches and strike plates are reversible for right and left hand doors by simply turning them upside down.

There are initially two of these sets available but the above price is for one set of latch and strike plate. The number In Stock indicates how many sets are currently available.

Latch face plate: 7/8” wide x 3-3/16” high
