Ornate Antique Victorian Cast Bronze Shutter Knobs

The ornate metal art work on these shutter knobs is just out of this world!  From the mid to late 1800’s they remain in exceptional condition with not a ding in sight.  The manufacturer is unknown so we cannot credit them as they deserve.  Be sure and enlarge the photos to see all the fine detail.  Although originally intended for use on interior shutters they could also be used as a cabinet or drawer knob.

The knobs are very heavy cast bronze with steel screws.  They retain a beautiful dark patina with some light surface rust on the screws (easily brushed off).  I had to use a flash on the single knobs to catch all the detail and they appear lighter.  The group photo best represents the color.
