One of a Kind Entry Set with Lavender Knob – Keyed Lock

This set was assembled with an eye towards the fantastic patina for an outstanding entry door!  The exterior boasts a larger ornate doorknob with an almost black verdigris that matches the door plate for that side of the door. For the interior a lavender glass knob is set off by the mottled brass patina (with a touch of light verdigris) of the companion door plate. The face of the lock has been left untouched as it matches the aging of the interior plate.  This is truly a stunning set!  

All parts were manufactured around the turn of the century. All metal is heavy cast (not pressed) construction. The set may not lend itself to being shined because the various metals may be either brass or bronze and might not match when polished. The lavender glass knob has some very light scratches and two flea bites appropriate to its age. The lock casing is cast iron and works well.  It is reversible for right or left hand doors.  The skeleton key throws the deadbolt smoothly.
