Niles Chicago Oval Sunburst Antique Doorknob

This is a very heavy cast bronze doorknob made by Niles Chicago in the late 1800s.  Because of the unique shaft this doorknob will not fit standard mortise locks.  The Niles Chicago mortise locks are made to accept the doorknob without the use of a steel spindle.

2-1/2” x 1-7/8” oval
