Very pretty Art Deco glass doorknobs team with polished cast iron door plates with an Egyptian motif. The knobs have a mercury silver center that seems to float within the glass. The nickel knob shafts coordinate beautifully with the cast iron plates. I’ve polished the high portions of the plates for a more silver color.
The knobs (from about 1920) are in excellent condition with not a single scratch or chip. The plates have some wear/discoloration as would be expected for iron over 100 years old. One plate is missing the center piece that would hold a standard doorknob but it isn’t needed with these stepped shaft knobs.
