French Door Latch with Rare Tiny Lavender Glass Doorknob

This set was assembled for those who want the extraordinary in their home! These door knobs are extremely rare not only for their lavender color but especially for their very small size. This tiny set is also suitable for a pantry, powder room or screen door – anywhere a petite size is desired.  And if you use it where exposed to the sun the lavender will continue to darken!

The set features brass on one side of the door and nickel on the other. The glass knob has a solid cast nickel shaft and sits on a nickel plated brass rosette. There is a small amount of wear down to brass on one area of the rosette edge but if faced down it wouldn’t be noticeable. There are a couple of slight blemishes to the glass but they are so minor they can’t even be felt. The elegant lever handle for the other side of the door sits on a plain brass door plate – both with patina. The tiny latch doesn’t appear to have ever been used and the face plate is a shiny brass. The little brass strike plate has patina.

Note that due to the length of the spindle the minimum door thickness for this set is 1-1/2”. If your door is thinner you would need to cut the spindle (retaining the threads) so the knob/lever can be closer together.
