Elegant Cast Brass or Bronze Screw on Doorknob

This beautiful doorknob goes well with almost any type of architecture. It was once nickel plated but the nickel only remains in the central design area and a bit on the shaft. I personally like it with the patina (the nickel is not at all shiny as the photo shows) but it could also be polished. Being solid heavy cast metal it would make a great entry statement!

This doorknob takes a screw in spindle.  As you can see in the photo, the shaft is stepped to sit in your escutcheon doorknob collar. Age is unknown but probably from around 1920. Normal wear for a vintage doorknob.

Knob diameter 2-1/4”
The hole in your doorknob collar needs to be between 3/4” and 7/8” diameter
