These wrought steel knobs and plates have soft flowing Art Nouveau lines with worn brass plating that gives them a nice distressed look. They go with almost any house architecture but I especially like them for Craftsman or Bungalow homes.
This set is in great condition with almost no loss of plating on the door plates. The knobs have lost all the plating and are now a dark chocolate color. The photo showing all parts is most true for color. The plates have some very slight roughness in a couple areas from old rust. Some linseed oil and a brass brush will smooth it out if you want to retain the finish or if you are painting them just sand it off. Not a single dent on any part!
