Dainty Antique Victorian Twist Doorbell

Dainty in both design and size you’ll just fall in love with this turn of the century mechanical doorbell!  The bell base has seashells and flowers at the top and bottom with fine detail connecting the two.  The twist carries the theme outside to greet your guests!

The base of the doorbell is cast iron with all of the bronze plating still there.  The bell portion is bronze over brass with some wear.  The twist is wrought bronze.
 
This antique doorbell is meant to be mounted on the door with the twist on the exterior and the bell inside.  The operating rod allows for a door thickness of 1-3/8” – 1-1/2”.  If your door is thinner you can easily cut the rod since it isn’t permanently attached.
