At the point of salvage, in a Chicago 1890 Victorian mansion, this set was so covered in paint that the details of flowers, clover and geometrics could barely be seen.   It has now been restored to its original eye-popping beauty and is ready for your home.  Be sure to enlarge the photos to see all the fantastic details!

The included bronze key is an antique but did not come with this lock. It operates the lock flawlessly. The key has a swivel grip so that it can be left in the door and not hit the pocket area when the door is open. There is a screw that sets the length.  I’ve shown two in the photo so you can see how it expands to accommodate your door thickness. Only one key is included and I will send you the one at the top of the photo. It's a lot easier to push together and set than to pull apart :o) One of the cup pulls has a deeper recess than the other three. It would be logical to install that one where the key is most likely to be left in place. Because of the additional thickness of that cup pull your doors must be at least 1-7/8” thick to accommodate this set.

Everything (except the cast iron lock casings and a few internal parts) is made of heavy cast bronze. The black background on the ornate parts was replaced and the high points were polished.  Lock and receiver have been taken apart & cleaned and operate perfectly.  Exterior of the lock casings were repainted. The last photo shows the set apart and cleaned before painting.

Cup pulls: 2-7/8” diameter (require a cut out 2-1/4” diameter)
Face plates: 1-3/16” x 7-9/16”
Casing is 11/16” thick
Backset: Edge of door to center of keyhole 2”
See annotated lock photo for additional dimensions
