Circa 1885 - 1890 Cast Bronze Door Plates by Norwalk

These fancy solid bronze door plates were made by Norwalk Lock Company in the late 1800’s.  Their signature detailing of arrowed geometrics combined with circles has a somewhat Moorish flavor.

Made of solid cast bronze with various levels of patina. Three are in excellent condition and the fourth (shown in the small separate photo) has some heavy scratching near the keyhole. The above price is for one door plate. If you don’t mind the scratching and want to save a bit of money ask for the scratched plate in the Comments section and just deduct $15 from the total of your purchase price.

Center of doorknob hole to center of round portion of keyhole is 2-1/8”
Doorknob collar opening 5/8” works best with narrow shaft white porcelain or jet black knobs rather than the bronze Norwalk knobs in matching pattern.
