Antique Sunflower Rosettes and Speckled Clay Doorknobs

This set reminds me of sunflowers with their chunky seeds! The mineral clay doorknobs have hard-to-find speckling and one has a cute manufacturing flaw that seems to wink at you! The cast iron rosettes depict flower pedals. All items are from the late 1800’s.  

The doorknobs were cleaned of old paint and rust and the shafts were primed and painted black as they originally were.  The “winking” knob has more speckling than the other and has not a single flea bit. The other knob has lighter speckling with fine overall crazing and a couple of tiny flea bites. The rosettes have worn bronze plating (more on one) and the original black background paint is intact.
