The three glass doorknob sets I have listed here together (DS1161, DS1162 and DS1163) are not identical but pretty darn close! They have different applications and might be just what you need for a special area in your home. These doorknobs are from around 1910 and are larger and heaver than the later glass knobs. All of the doorknobs have a mercury center that just makes them sparkle and I’ve provided fancy cut glass keyhole covers to make the sets very unique.
This set is for a bathroom with brass for one side of the door and nickel for the side inside the bathroom. Neither glass doorknob has not a single flea bite and no scratches. The glass keyhole cover has no chips or scratches at all. All of the nickel and brass have been polished. All mounting screws are included. A special note is that all the locks are identical and one key will operate all of them. You can order a key by purchasing
DSP1007 The mortise lock has been opened, cleaned and operates perfectly. The steel face plate has a nickel finish as does the strike plate. The gold tone on the strike plate is due to the camera flash. It is all silver colored. The lock casing is heavy cast iron. The lock is reversible for a right or left hand door. Just open the lock, flip the strike over, and close it again. The threaded spindle allows a door thickness of 1” to over 2”.
