Antique Ornate High Catch Clam Shell Sash Locks

Before the 20th century simple clam shell locks window hardware was much fancier.  An ornate high catch holds the fleur de lis adorned lock firmly in place.  Be sure and enlarge the photos to see all the detail. Made in the late 1800’s they are elegantly charming.

These locks are sold individually. The above price is for one lock/catch and the number In Stock indicates how many I have available. Springs are strong and they both work perfectly. The pieces have a black iron patina and have been oiled to preserve them.

Lock measures 2-5/8” wide x 1” deep (maximum dimension)
Catch measures 2-3/8” wide x 5/8” deep (maximum dimension)
Screw holes center to center are 1-7/8” (catch) and 2” (latch)
