These mortise locks are heavy duty and high end quality. Made by Norwalk Lock Co. around the turn of the century they are what is called “new old stock”, meaning that they have never been installed. With the larger than average distance between the doorknob hub and the keyhole these are particularly attractive for use with separate keyhole covers and rosettes for maximum visibility of the artistic hardware.

There are some chips to the black paint on the lock casings from being knocked around over the years but are otherwise in exceptional condition. The photo of the two locks is representative of the condition of all. The strike, deadbolt and doorknob hub are made of brass while the thick faceplate is bronze. The bronze has obtained a dark patina over the years and you can either use them “as is” or polish. I’ve polished one a bit to show you the color they would be.

I do not have a skeleton key to fit these locks. If you wish to use the deadbolt function you will need to have your local locksmith make one. That same key would fit all these locks
