These Ceylon design mortise locks each have an issue but both are quite useable. The one on the left has lost all the bronze plating on the raised portions of the steel door plate but the bronze remains in the lower area. The one on the right has bronze plating substantially intact but the deadbolt is broken so it cannot be locked.

These locks have been taken apart, cleaned and operate perfectly (with the exception of the one deadbolt). They are reversible for right or left hand doors. Remove one screw, flip the strike over and close the lock again.
