Antique Hinges
Here you will find a wonderful selection of antique and vintage hinges that are indispensable for restoring or remodeling historic homes. The hinges shown on these pages are primarily for full size doors but also include screen door hinges, cabinet hinges, chest hinges and hinges for the small access doors frequently found in old houses. I have tried to include the maker's name if known. Note: Never use power equipment for screwing cast iron hinges to the door or jamb. Cast iron will easily crack. If you have broken or lost parts of your hinges you will see some halves listed also. If you are looking for a replacement part, email me a photo and I'll try and find it for you.
NOTE: All hinges here can be used for either right or left hand doors unless noted otherwise in the description.

I would estimate that these hinges were manufactured between 1900 and 1910. They are solid cast bronze and would have likely been used on an ice box, decorative chest or large cupboard. One has been cleaned but not polished and the other two retain their original dark patina. One hinge could use... click picture for more info |
