Definitely for the discerning homeowner who wants the very best! The details are phenomenal and the incising is sharp and deep. The little “nails” that hold the lattice work on the background are almost sharp to the touch! A full 1-1/4” of metal artistry can be seen even when your door is closed.... click picture for more info |

I offer half hinges in this store because I know from personal experience how frustrating it is to have just one half of a hinge. Part was either broken or lost and I didn’t want to incur the expense of purchasing a complete replacement hinge. These are provided to help people restoring old homes.... click picture for more info |

These antique hinges have a splendid mix of geometric and foliate designs! Look closely to see the bowl of flowers towards the top and along the bottom a row of urns. All set off by the wonderfully ornate finials with twin rows of beading and little sprigs of leaves! Be sure to enlarge the photos... click picture for more info |

These small 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” hinges are quite hard to find and these are in fantastic condition! Made by P & F Corbin in the late 1800’s they dubbed the design “Diagonal”. Much of the ornamental hardware in the Victorian Era was festooned with designs of Oriental and Egyptian themes and this is... click picture for more info |

These old cannonball hinges were the choice for most homes built in the 1930’s and 40’s. These have had the old paint and rust removed but I’ve not oiled them in case you might want to paint them to match your door and jamb (which was a pretty standard thing to do). A bit of the original brass... click picture for more info |

For the person who might have this design hinge and is missing one. This hinge was made by Kean & Doty Mfg. Co. in the late 1800’s. Their signature, K & D, is inscribed on the back. As you can see in the photos there is little wear to the original bronze plating and black background... click picture for more info |

One of the most frustrating things about restoring a historic home is when you are missing just half of something. Either half of a hinge broke or it was lost at some point. The larger 5”x 5” half hinge is in good condition except for one corner where the original black background paint and bronze... click picture for more info |

Some folks are looking for very rustic primitive hardware and for them it doesn’t get any better than this! Loads of old chipped paint and rust but they still rotate freely. As you can see in the photo one of the pins is bent. On that hinge the pin goes deep enough to engage the bottom barrel so... click picture for more info |

These swinging door hinges are what is called New/Old Stock. New because they have never been used and Old because they were made a long time ago. These cast iron hinges from the late 1800’s have an interesting mix of stark geometrics on the flaps and floral details on the barrels. Charming! They have been cleaned of paint and rust but the pins have been left in place. I have left the pins sticking out slightly in case you would want to try... click picture for more info |

A sweet set of ball tipped hinges with lovely Victorian swirls on a stippled background.
