Antique Doorknobs Set with Diagonal Design

What a striking diagonal design!  Full of geometrics and swirls the doorknobs set on the plates so that the design repeats on all parts.  This matched wrought bronze set was manufactured by Branford Lock Works around 1893 and remains in excellent condition.   The bronze has been lightly polished to have the details stand out beautifully!  A steel spindle with bronze set screws and a plain strike plate are included but not pictured. This set is the same design pattern as Doorknob DK1001 and a mortise lock DM1015.

Lock casing is cast iron.  Lock face, strike and deadbolt are bronze.  Working skeleton key throws the deadbolt easily.  Reversible for right or left hand doors.  Remove one screw, flip the strike over and close the lock again.  Ready for another 100 years of use!  This lock has been reconditioned.  Go to About Us to see how I do it!
