Antique Counter, Desk or Servant Bell

In days gone by attention was gained not by a loud harsh voice but with a melodic sound.  A tap on the little button of this counter bell gives a little “ding” reminiscent of more gentile times – and fun to ring too!

The bell works perfectly and is in very good condition. The base of the bell is cast iron with a dainty design and picketing. The dome is iron and both have aged to a dark brown patina. There are a couple of spots with wear to the patina on the dome that will darken again in time.

This bell measures 2-3/4” in diameter and stands 1-3/8” high (not including the button)
