Its hard to find a small mortise lock with a 3/8 spindle opening. They are usually the large entry locks. Any 3/8 spindle will work with this lock and both knobs would rotate at the same time.
This lock has been taken apart, cleaned and operates perfectly. The copper (or bronze?) face is an interesting mottled look with many colors evident in the patina. There are some scratches and dings but the heavy face plate is straight as an arrow. Strike and deadbolt are brass and the lock casing is cast iron. Lock is reversible for right or left hand doors. Remove one screw, flip the strike over and close the lock again. Ready for another 100 years of use!
